Pet-Nat stands for Petillant Naturel, which is an ancient way of making wine involving minimum contact. Nothing is added and nothing is taken away or adjusted by addition of acid or other product. Fermentation is halted halfway through, the wine is bottled unfiltered, undisgorged and unfined. Fermentation is completed in the bottle producing some bubbles and cloudy appearance .
Lone Sparrow Rose was contract made in small batches in Adelaide Hills from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the same region. It is made for consumption now with aging not recommended, making this Rose infinitely smashing.
Ideal with Asian style cooking or just on it’s own.
